Jiuan Jones

Classroom Facilitator

Jiuan is one of the classroom facilitators here at Happy Day Christian Pre-Kindergarten. Jiuan has a solid foundation in the Word of God through completing a two-year Pistis Layperson’s certificate program and she loves working with children. She has volunteered with daycares and children ministries as well. Jiuan was raised in Ontario and recently relocated to Charlottetown with her husband and dog Maximus. She enjoy spending time with family and friends, playing with her dog Maximus, and reading. Jiuan’s passion is to teach children the word of God, show them God’s unconditional love daily, and to help each one of them grow into all that God has called them to do. She is a funny, caring, and joyful individual who always makes the classroom a fun place.

Lindie Roets

Classroom Facilitator

I have been part of the Happy Day team since September 2020, when I moved to PEI from Lephalale in South Africa with my husband and son.

I have a BA Psychology degree, and I am currently working on my Level 1 certification as an Early Childhood Educator. I hope to use the new skills and knowledge I learn, to help each child based on their individual needs. I have always been passionate about human development, I love celebrating and nurturing all the different and unique gifts God has gifted all of our students. I am a big nature lover, and feel closest to my creator when I am outside, whether I am drinking coffee on my porch, hiking or simply exploring new or old surroundings. 

Jessica Richardson

Classroom Facilitator

Jess is currently covering the Lead Classroom Supervisor position until May. She has been at Happy Day since September 2022, and has her ECE Level 3 and Supervisor Certification. She has over 20 years of experience working in childcare in different capacities. Most of her experiences include Christian settings and she has a passion for being able to share Jesus with those in her care.

Jess and her husband, Jedd moved to PEI from Ontario two years ago with their four school aged children. Jess loves to watch her children participate in their many sports and activities and can usually be found in the evenings at the rink or the baseball field. 

Rebekah Judson

Lead Classroom Facilitator (Currently on Maternity Leave)

Bekah is our lead classroom facilitator and has been a valued educator of Happy Day Christian Pre-Kindergarten for ten years. Bekah is fully certified with her Early Childhood Education Level III diploma and Supervisor Certification. Bekah and her husband David are born and raised Islanders and live in Stratford, PEI and welcomed their son, Adon in May of 2022. They enjoy spending time with family and friends and exploring our beautiful Island. Bekah’s passion for teaching children the word of the Lord, loving and caring for children daily, are just a few of the key attributes and strengths she brings to our program each and every day.
